The short version

Nothing non-essential loads until you choose. If you decline, or never answer the banner, no analytics or marketing scripts run at all — the consent manager is fail-closed, meaning the absence of a decision is treated as a refusal.

Categories

• Strictly necessary — a single local storage entry recording your consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every page. Always on; it is what makes the rest of this policy enforceable.
• Analytics — off by default. When enabled, aggregate analytics measure which pages are read and which cities people care about. IP addresses are anonymised and Google Signals is disabled, so no cross-device advertising profile is built.
• Affiliate — off by default. When enabled, affiliate attribution may set cookies. These are set by the partner, not by this site, and only after you click through to them.
