Belgrade
Belgrade is raw in the best way. It doesn't try to be polished for tourists — it just is what it is. The fortress above the river is worth the walk, the food is excellent and cheap, and the nightlife on the river boats (splavovi) is unlike anything else in Europe. People are direct and warm once you're in. Underrated.
