Klaipeda
Klaipeda sits on the Baltic coast and has a distinctly different feel from the rest of Lithuania — more Germanic in its architecture, more maritime in its character. The Curonian Spit is a UNESCO-listed sand dune peninsula just across the ferry and worth a day trip. Small city, easy to navigate, good for a couple of days.
