Riga
Riga is the largest of the Baltic capitals and it shows — more cosmopolitan, more varied, more going on. The Art Nouveau architecture in the city centre is exceptional and largely overlooked by people who don't know to look for it. The central market in the old zeppelin hangars is worth a morning. Good nightlife, good food, and a city that feels like it's growing into itself.
